- Acquisitions & Integration
Driving our growth at the support centre and out in the field, our diverse team builds strong working relationships with current and future sellers. We ensure that newly acquired practices and their teams are integrated seamlessly into our community and we support their continued success.
- Central Operations
The Central Operations team work on delivering both strategic and short term business initiatives as well as the continuous development of business processes. We also respond to reactive projects and initiatives that improve business performance and customer service.
Central Operations consists of a number of different teams that support our colleagues; Internal Communications, Business Change, Audit and Contact Centre Support. The team has a strong working relationship with field teams which is actively promoted through attending Area & Regional meetings and a “Keeping in Touch” programme designed to build improved support centre and practice relationships.
- Clinical Management & Support
Primarily responsible for ensuring clinical quality, our clinical team also provide on going support, development, specialist knowledge, and advice to our clinicians.
The Commissioning Team are the link between mydentist and the NHS commissioners for managing and maintaining our NHS contracts in England and Wales dealing with contract protection, growth, breach and tendering for new NHS contracts. We also develop and seek out opportunities to offer dental services to the private sector and work cross-functionally with most departments in mydentist during the course of our duties.
- Area & Regional Managers
Area and Regional Managers are responsible for leading our successful practice teams and working with clinicians & staff to provide the best possible patient care.

A multi-functional team covering a variety of financial disciplines, we’re responsible for everything from payroll and accounts to the purchase ledger and providing vital management information.
- Group Legal Services
Group Legal and Company Secretarial delivers in-house legal and compliance services to all the divisions and business units across mydentist. We provide timely, commercially focused legal support and advice in relation to both industry specific matters and wider business matters. This ranges from property, commercial and corporate work to assisting with projects and litigation. In addition we are responsible for ensuring corporate governance and information governance across the entire Group. As a team we are fully integrated into the business enabling us to proactively identify and resolve legal issues. There is a strong focus on risk management across all aspects of our work. Key drivers for the team include ensuring compliance, supporting the development of the business and assisting with patient relations.
- Human Resources & Recruitment
Human Resources is a multifaceted team that provides a number of key business functions, including Payroll, Employee Relations, Reward, and Learning and Development.
The Resourcing Team work in partnership with all areas of the business. By building strong working relationships with colleagues, we ensure that we attract, recruit and retain the very best talent in the dental market.
We’re responsible for maintaining and continually developing a highly effective I.T. infrastructure that meets the needs of our support centre teams and network of practices. We ensure the quality and reliability of systems from our telephony systems to the data warehouse where our management data is stored.
Raising the profile of mydentist and individual practices, we provide operational project assistance, create promotional materials, maintain our website and attract new patients through our marketing campaigns.
Responsible for ensuring we achieve best value from the wide range of products and services we buy, we maintain and develop good relationships with leading dental brands, companies and a variety of third party suppliers.
